This is my video. I did a project and i chose Mae Jemison. I used pictures from the internet to use for my video. I did my research on the internet so i can get more information about Mae Jemison. In the video i used some music and some graphics to go with my speech about the life of Mae.

Welcome to your brand new blog at Edublogs.

PS 124 has been using Wordpress-based websites since 2005 for blogging and as our community presence on the Internet.  We’ve recently decided to explore edublogs.org as a potential new home for our Online Learning Network.   Edublogs will give us the ability to post our videos directly on our websites, which will make it much easier for our students and teachers to upload all of their digital productions.  Edublogs also offers many support resources designed specifically for educators and students, like the ones below.  Check them out!

There’s stacks of great supporting material too! Take time to view our some helpful introductory videos, read through our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) or stop by The Edublogs Forums to chat with other edubloggers.

If you’ve got 4 minutes and 55 seconds, we’ve also put together a video introduction that you might like:

Download VNR: Violence in Schools

The PS 124 community takes a strong stand against school violence. Following this theme, 5 production groups in class 5-302 made video news releases (VNRs) exploring violence in their lives and community. Lots of preparation, or “pre-production” work, by students created a rich, well-executed production process that produced fantastic results, and lots of opportunities for critical media analysis.
